Athlete REQUIRED and RECOMMENDED GEAR
REQUIRED:
Every athlete is required to have one Race Day shirt and at least one Training shirt.
RECOMMENDED:
Running shoes for daily miles - these will be used the most! Dedicated running shoe stores have the technology and the experienced personnel to analyze your running biomechanics/gait and make recommendations tailored to your specifics that will fit you properly.
XC spikes for meets - consider investing in a pair of XC spikes to aid in running on different terrains
Running Socks - opt for CoolMax or Merino wool socks as they don’t hold moisture. Trapped moisture in your socks/shoes can cause friction which results in blisters and general poor foot health.
Running Shorts - Dri-fit shorts are preferred as they don’t hold moisture and are often lighter in weight
Boys Black Split Shorts: 1” split shorts or 3” split shorts
Girls Workout/Running Shorts: 3” dri-fit tights/shorts or 3” running shorts
